Cool Well so far, it works...

Hello Everyone!

First i'll start with saying THANK YOU to all adms in this site and members putting in their experiences, questions, answers to help edify, educate others about credit repair. I really appreciate your inputs and encouragement in showing people out there how they, we can better our credit reports.

Husband and I are looking into starting to invest in real estate in the near future and knew that our credits, from past mistakes, weren't so good. So we needed to start cleaning them up and make them better. He is in the Army so I am stuck with fixing both by myself.

Of course I started with mine...pull all 3 credits back in August, not so good looking...did lots of research about how to go by fixing it...agency or myself. I wasn't sure until I found this site, thanks God! Did a lot of readings here and finally started last month.

I opted out, located all the negative items to dispute, the ones to PDF and the Goodwills...
Sent out the handwritten disputes to all 3 CRs in Sept, All disputing 11 items with 3 collectors. Did one PDF to one bank that i was owing about $460.00 (overdraft fees), I offered to pay $150.00 for a deletion, they accepted, sent the acceptance in writing then I sent the money just this week...so waiting to see that gone.

Meanwhile, I got the first answer this week from TU who has deleted 9 out of the 11 items!!! It felt good to see all those "DELETED" lines
Now, the other two items from LVNV, I sent a letter of validation for both accounts since they are both out of SOL, dated 04-05 and do not have recollections of them both...so waiting as well.

I still haven't heard from the other two bureas as of now...is this normal? I am thinking that they should also delete the 9 items that TU couldn't verified or could they? hopefully they won't just ignore my disputes...I give them until the end of the month then I'll resend again.

Lastly, I did just for a try some ONLINE disputes (4) with all 3 bureaus on 4 collections. EX deleted one and verified the 3 others...need LV on those asap...didn't hear from the other 2 bureaux on these online disputes...not too found of online disputes at this point...

I guess this can be done but it's time consuming so I am trying to make it fun and learn in the meantime so I decided to get some help for hubby's case and signed him up with Lexington while I am working on mine since timing is tight! i'll see how it'll go with them in the next 3 months compared to my own results/progress.

I also have 3 charge offs, two with balance (LVNV again $2k, Medical ded. $900) and the other Cap1 with Zero...not sure how to go by with those...any advices please?

Started with August reports: EX 582, TU 513 and EQ 529, last month out of th blue EQ went up to 577 before even the results from my disputes, my Fico said something with my mortgate, a change or whatever that made the score go a bit higher...I haven't pulled again since Aug, figured i'll wait to get ALL 3 results then i'll see what's the changes are as far as score goes...

Sorry, this was way too long!!! I guess i'm excited. I'll keep you posted but I promised next time it won't be this long

Thanks!
Caprice.
