Smile Got a nice jump with Equifax

Been working on my wife's scores:

Started Oct 23rd

Equifax -597
Experian -608
TransU -604

Got Equifax up to 664

Experian -*Got 7 collections DELETED, waiting for a few others to complete. Anyone want to give a guess what the bump might be (i understand it would be a guess)

TransU -Got 7 collection disputes pending (the same from above, so I assume they'll delete) Also paid a card that was using 80% of available down to 10% of available.

Thanks much to admin, all on these boards, mods...you folks are doing the Lord's work.

Question inspired!!

Which method are you using to correct her credit? I am starting on mine now.. but want to make sure I understand everything first!! I have started typing all of my dispute letters to the ca and cb for the 1 2 punch!

Wink

1) First let me say again this site is so awesome and full of people with way more experience in this than I.

2) I always defer to people with more experience, never been afraid to shut-up listen and learn.

That said....I found this site after I started my repair efforts and I used straight online disputes using my free TRU, EX, EP reports.

EX was the best, follwed by EP with TRU by far being the worst (their site wouldn't let submit additional disputes after my first one was submitted) they forced me to do it on the phone/mail.

With the CA's I did pay to delete before submitting disputes online.

I just got the letter from TRU yesterday that the final 7 disputes were deleted, and online confirmation that my last EX was deleted.

I think I was very lucky... YMMV

Thanks folks! I haven't monitored this thread lately so I guess a update is in order.

Equifax -694
Experian -684
TransU -689

....we close on our house this Friday.

Again, thanks to all the smart people on this board, especially Chane.
I'm still motivated to join the 700+ club.
