Alright, I am a new member to this forum. I joined this community because of its large database of first hand knowledge and content. I feel compelled to share the experience and results of my own credit repair journey. The whole process took me a little over 5 months, and seemed tedious at the time . But, the end results where priceless! I was able to buy my first house at the end of the 5 months and obtain multiple cards, business credit accounts, etc. I used my fresh start to create my own house remodeling business. It has been a little over 5 years since my credit repairs started. I am still enjoying life, running my business, am now officially a member of the 700 club. starting their journey? Research like there will be no tomorrow. Knowledge is key, understand the process before making choices regarding your credit repairs. Be relentless with the collection agency's. Keep records of any major contact with agency's, keep a diary of all your dealings, or communicate via registered mail. Make them feel your presence as a consumer who is educated about credit laws and consumer rights. Most importantly, keep your chin up. Their will be time for reaping your rewards and resting later! Welcome to the forum and congrats on the score. I have gotten rid of several mistakes on my CR, but some just won't go away. Like the PO Box. I never had a PO Box , but they say one of the credit cards say that was a billing address and they won't delete it. I am going to work on them until my credit is like it use to be. : |
