i've also noticed, that equifax has the easiest dispute process. if your deligent and keep deleting the same things enough times, they ususally remove it. i have only 3 negative accounts left on my report. the other 4 are good

please tell me if this strategy sounds like it will work;

i want to buy a house as soon i feel like my score cant really improve too much more. experian is really hard to get to even reply to a dispute but equifax is super easy! also transunion is pretty fair and usually removes on 2 or third dispute (their process is just a lot longer)

my plan is to raise transunion and equifax as high as possible and then that would create my median score. experian would be the lowest score, equifax the highest and trans would be my median. do lenders still look at a score like this?

please advise!!

to date:

equifax has deleted 3 judgments, a car loan, 3 credit cards and 18 inquries

Wow, I keep hearing about EQ dropping off inquiries! that is excellent news, I am always a bit suspicious about disputing online, did anybody else have success disputing online any other items besides inquires?

Regards,

I am also worrying with Tu and Equifax first! When those scores are as high as I can get them, I will work harder on Experian but when I do the 1-2 punch I send to all three and hope that I get the same results from all of them.
Did you notice that EX will verify just about anything? The other two willn't verify as easily but I can imagine the process that Ex goes through, It must be just calling the Ca's and saying do you have a debt on file for this name and they say SURE Do and then Ex says ok that sounds good. Done verified!

I hate dealing with them but I have had some success disputing online before this forum. I got 2 items deleted from experian and two from transunion but I get much better results disputing through the mail!

I sent a dispute out last week to TU two weeks ago and I just got a letter that the two things was deleted! I checked Tu and Eq and its gone from both!

Default trying to remove inquiries

Okay I sent a hand written letter to TU on trying to remove some of these Inquires like 6 of them that I didnt even know was on there. I got a letter in the mail today stating....

credit information may be requested oly for the following permissible purposes: .............. your written authorization may not be required to constitute permissible purpose.....

Really they can say that.... or written authorization may not be required... I thought it was required for everything.

Then it goes on to say if I beleive these was made with out permissible purose then you may with to contact the creditor directly, in writing, regarind its purpose. Please not that your specific consent to release of your credit information is not necessary for a permissible purpose to exist. ........

What the hell.... Should I just write them again and again until they finally delete them?

Smile Annual credit score

Thanks for the information now i can raise my annual credit score but i think hard inquiries can impact your score. I am agree that a soft inquiry can only be seen by you and does not impact your score at all.
