Default Inquiries and old addresses DELETED

Alright! So I have begun my credit repair efforts since around the time I joined this site. Patience really pays off.

I have been able to remove addresses with dispute letters saying, "I do not know dis address hehe". lol!

Equifax, I must say is being the best. They have been prompt in deleting everything I dispute. As soon as they deleted my old addresses, I was so excited that I disputed the inquiries saying "I did not want or authorize these credit checks". They deleted all four of them right away. I heard they have to report it for 2 years no matter what, but not in this case! : ) Maybe it is because that even though I never received a credit report from them to begin with, I sent them a check for 15 dollars anyhow.

Well that is my success story and there is more to come.

Wink Great News!

Glad to hear some good news! Lets hope it keeps going this way for both of us. I am playing the waiting game right now. 30 days is a long time to wait when you just want to be done with the whole process.

I know what you mean, I just sent my letters in for validation to all the companies today, and I will be sending out the other letters in a week to the big 3 and see what happens in 30 days, I'm hoping that most of them come off or at least a few and then if that happens then i can go from there and get everything else removed as well.

Default Inquiries

Bit the bullet and hired a credit repair company for mine and my wife's. My wife's is in pretty good shape. Only 2 lates from just about 2 years ago and a medical collection of also 2 years ago. Anyway was telling a buddy of mine about who has a small local "repair" company, but primarily a "broker" who can find loc's,etc. Anyway I told him about the repair company claiming to have her report completley cleaned up in 4-6 weeks. He scoffed, but he never go any lates off. Therefore he said he could get all her inquiries
off Equifax. He could not do a thing w/Exp. or TU. She had about 12 fairly recent inquiries on her Eq. and in 24 hours they were all erased with the exception of one!!! Her Eq. score went from 702 to 758, in 24 hours!!!

I have not checked the Exp. or TU yet, but like I said he can't do anything with those. The lates are still on Eq. but hopefully if the repair company comes through soon then she should be much higher. Dare I say 800 is within the realm of possibility?!!! She has 3 credit cards, 2 w/ 0 balances and the other under 30% utilization.

Default Inquiries

How many points did your score go up to with the removal of the inquiries and the old address?

To be honest, I began accruing a debt before even establishing credit. So I don't think I even have a score. I now have a wamu credit card and I sould get access to my PFICO scores soon...

Oh yea! I just had two derogatory accounts deleted. The original creditor offered me a loan which gets reported to the big 3 in order to settle the debt.

So I have a cc and a loan. This should really boost my credit. Just one more derog to go...

Very nice results here!

I just started by disputing all old names, addresses, and old personal information. I found that if you match up the experian addresses with the addresses that are on file, you should easily be able to dispute the addresses that aren't tied to any accounts. The rest of them aren't able to be removed until you can remove the accounts first.

For TransUnion, I was able to easily remove all old data online. For Equifax, I had to send in a letter disputing the old stuff. Haven't gotten any news yet, but I expect it to be pretty good.
