Default National Student Loan

Hi, I disputed 2 defaulted loans I had with National Student Loan on all the reports.

I just consolidated my loans with Direct Loans, at the same time that I disputed the other 2.

Trans Union quicly removed them. Experian a couple weeks later.

I am still waiting to hear back from Equifax.

My question is, has anyone ever had NSL loans and disputed them, had them removed, only to have them pop back up there?

I haven't had that happen to me but it is possible if you don't work directly with the creditor. Since it is the original creditor, you wont use a debt validation, but you can ask them to verify that they have all the proper documents. Do you actually owe them money or this a mistake?

I used to have student loans with Sally Mae and defualted. They sold or transferred them to NSL. Then apparently Account Control Technology was assigned to collect it.

I consolidated with Direct Loans a few weweks ago.

I disputed the tradelines on all 3 reports. TU and EX removed them. I am still waiting to hear back from EQ.

I called NSL and they said once it is paid they update but it is paid already and has been removed. Only took a couple days for TU and EX to remove.

I was just wondering if anyone has has them removed through as dispute and it either did not or did come back up later.
