Default AES and TERI loans. Please Help.

Hello.

I'm really dumbfounded with the ridiculous amount of student loan that I am charged with.

A few years ago, I had 8 loans through TERI and 7 of those loans were between $2,000-$2,500 each and a $6,000 loan but NOW the total for my loan is $54,000 through AES!!! My loan should be no more than $20,000+. Loans were borrowed between 2004-2007. How the heck did that HAPPEN? This is absurd. When TERI gave my loans to AES, the loan amount does not MATCH. I don't know where to turn to. I am completely exhausted from this. If I have all the information with the original loan disbursed to me, can I fight this off???? I don't know what else to do.

I've been through hell with AES. Please I need advise. I am being charged up the a** for money I never even used.

I would start by sending a debt validation letter with documentation from TERI showing the amount owed before you consolidated. You consolidated all those loans right?
