...financial aid? ok so im trying to go to school and im gonna apply for fasfa...but first i wanna know from peoples opinions how much money should i be expecting? my parents passed away years ago and i never had a legal guardian i just went and lived with my brother...im 20 and i live on my own.

First thing you need to do is check with the school that your applying to to see what the "Independent" requirments are. I know that at most colleges to have the independent classifaction you must be 25yrs of age before you enroll. but sence your only 20 you may have to file an appeal with the school to get the independent status, the appel may consest of having people write letters to prove your guardians status over you. as for the fasa money amount, it is determianed by the amount of your taxes, and what you earned. this is called your "EFC" number. the lower it is the more you get in aid.
