Default if im married will that effect my financial aid?

my husband is living in the d.r but soon i will be filing a petition for him to come here and the lawyer says i don't need a job just proof that im in school and someone to say they'll support us so but will that effect my financial aid

They will count your husbands income so yes, it will affect your financial aid. Same as it will affect your taxes.

If your hubby has a source of income you could lose your financial aid, however the increase in holdhold size if he makes under the limit could increase your financial aid.

Yes, being he has no reportable income it will more than likely help you, but who will support the both of you
