Default Is there any programs, like financial aid, available

for ex convicts? I've been to prison before. I've just been released and I'm finding it very hard to stay afloat.Need answers, and I'm not afraid to ask for help, nor am I too proud.

I think the best place for you to start is with your parole/probation officer, they are supposed to have ways to help you on the outside. Unfortunately a lot of government programs (like housing) won't help you for quite some time (a few years or longer depending on the offense), but you should be able to get some information from your court officer.If they can't help you some ministries can ... and you may want to locate them through churches.

Financial aid to attend a college or trade school, if that's not what you have in mind, get a mediocre job like the rest of us and make it work.

Are u talking about welfare? If so, it varies from state to state. U can look online to get some more info.
