Ho to pay for college? I have no clue what to do!?

I am a high school senior and i live in indianapolis IN.I am currently thinking about going to IU or FLorida State University, but everyone keeps on tellin me to go to fastweb.com and get scholarships, which im currently doing. CAn anyone help me on how to figure out howo the heck im supposed to get grants and/or financial aid?I dont want to get student loans though, they suck, from what i hear. ;?

schools have this thing called "scholarship portfolios" in the middle of February.. you have to make one coz sponsors will be visitinig your school to select thier scholar recipients. also, try applying for FAFFSA. Its gonna help you get a grant, but only if your family isn't rich.. if your family is like kinda rich-ish but not poor-ish, you are less likely to get a grant.. but like, you could get a loan!But hey, if you really want to go to college.. and there's no other way, try student loans.. ... it may be expensive, and you'll get billed later on, but with a NEW job after college, you'll be able to make more cash, and pay for it!
