Depending on how much you make, goto your local community college and ask about FAFSA, it's a program to help you pay for college. Also, ask about Pell Grants.

Go to the financial aid office at the college you want to go to. They can help you fill out all the forms. There are lots of loans and grants available. Good luck and God bless you.

yes, try more than one college. there are lots of scholarships and you need not be a scholar to get one. just lots of paperwork, essays to write, follow up. keep trying and be nice, but keep following up with the forms / processing. keep copies of everything and be organized. be freindly , but persistent in dealing with the financial aid people. there are also loans you can take out and you do not have to pay them back / they add no interest until you graduate. try to get all the grants and scholarships first because you do not have to pay that money back
