Yes, if you can afford it. I have paid for my college my first 2 years in cash for 12 semester hours each. That's around $8,000! I was fortunate enough to acquire a good paying job right out of high school that would work around my school schedule. I worked and calculated the amount I would need to save each month in order to make my school payments. Each year I would recalculate that amount based on the new year's cost. I continuously save each month.It is nice to know that 2 years is paid for, behind me, and done with.....no payments with high interest rates to show up in my mail 6 months after graduation!BELIEVE ME IT IS NICE! And not to mention, a personal accomplishment that other people reward and look up to you for.
