Default How to remove a Paid IRS lien
I have a federal tax lien that the IRS filed in 2006. The lien was released in 04/2010. What is the best method of trying to remove this?

Go to the IRS website. They have a new policy to remove IRS liens that are paid and satisfied from your CR's. It works, fill out the form they will get back to you promptly if you are eligible. I did it.

I'm starting this process today. I have form 688(Y) filled out ready to mail.

Were you able to get the lien withdrawn and how long did it take to update on your credit reports?
