Thanx.
I don't see why you couldn't do all 3.

Part 1: Okay, this is a two part question: I sent my dispute letters to the CRA's and I still keep getting back that I have not provided enough sufficient proof to prove my identity. I have sent 3 times now, a copy of my social, driver’s license and a utility bill, which they include in the letter is validation enough! What the hell? Why won’t they accept this and get on with my dispute? Is there any kind of violation going on here?

Part 2: I sent my validation request to the CRA’s for my judgments and also sent the letter to the court houses. No reply yet from the CRA’s but I did get this from the court house…what do you guys make of this?

“The court has no direct contact with credit reporting agencies. Employees of the different credit reporting agencies come to the court and review the public files. The procedures that the employees of the credit reporting agencies use to verify a judgment/docket are their own.

Regards,

Court Operations Clerk”

Part 1 - Not sure just yet but this has to be a violation.......this is honestly the first time I've heard of someone having this much trouble.

Let's both look through the FCRA and see what we can find out. In the meantime, you should file a complaint with the BBB and the FTC......the BBB may be able to help you resolve this. Then if we can find actual violations (especially since you have copies and proof of everything), you should list them out and maybe draft up a letter to their legal dept. This is BS.

Part 2 - Letter looks good to me. It tells how the CRAs verify it but it also states that they do not report it to the CRAs. That's what you would need to stress in your letter to the CRAs demanding deletion.

oh okay. i thought that this would have been a deal breaker for me for sure! but this basically says that its their responsibility to collect the information and still, what proof do they have that they did so?

thanks for answering my questions. i will get on looking up that info.

Well, it's just that the CRAs get the info from somewhere other than the courthouses..........but yet they report it as though they are getting it directly from them as the furnisher of information.......which is BS.

Then file complaints and then just go ahead and keep going with your regular disputes. Ignore their requests for proof of ID.
