Exclamation Foreclosures removed????

I understand the basics about opting out and such but have a few questions:
If you don't recommend using "not mine" what is the best way to go about having a foreclosure of real estate removed from your file?

Also: What do you tell the CRA's to get old addresses removed? never lived there? isn't that the same as a "not mine" if you did reside there? same for past employers?

You can dispute a foreclosure the same way you would dispute anything else. Just tell them you want it investigated. Giving them a reason as to why you want it investigated is the best way to make sure that it remains for 7 years. It's the biggest mistake in credit repair and some of the "gurus" are still telling their clients to do it. Plus, if it is yours, you are lying...and that is a big mistake.

You don't have to lie. The law is on your side. Use it the way lawyers do. You are simply making a not guilty plea and asking them to prove it or remove it. Here's the thing: THEY CAN NOT PROVE PUBLIC RECORDS!

They would have to go directly to the court. That is the only way the court will verify it. They won't do that; it would cost them way too much to send employees to other cities and states to investigate. So, guess what?

THEY MUST REMOVE IT.

Disputing addresses is the same way. They want you to give them a reason. DON'T! Just say that you want them proved or removed. HOW CAN THEY PROVE YOU LIVED SOMEWHERE??? THEY CAN'T! REMOVE IT!

Make sense?

So in your dispute letter you can say, "Dear, Experian/Equifax/TransUnion, please verify or remove the following public records..."

And according to Chane, all you would have to do after sending the letters is sit back and wait for them to be deleted.

Well, yes, but it doesn't work every time. Nothing works every time, so don't be mad at me if it doesn't come off. The CRAs are very inconsistent. I've had about a 90% success rate with most clients, including myself.

Here is what a typical letter that I use looks like:

Dear Credit Bureau,

Your company has made several errors on my credit report and I ask for your immediate assistance in correcting these errors.

Please provide documentation that the following accounts belong on my credit report and that my rights have not been abrogated. Otherwise please delete this damaging data immediately.

Foreclosure - Indiana Federal Court-So Docket# 5781234

Thanks for your time,
