deadbeat ex... how far can I go in discovering his income? I have it from a reliable source they make upwards of $450,000 per year. Is it legal or illegal to log into their email account and bank accounts to prove their ability to pay? They have been claiming "too broke to pay", and even the old judgment is based on what I know now to be a false declaration of income.

That is a tough situation. I would get the info and say you got it from the bank. So the judge can see you are not liying.
