How will Al Gore's acceptance of the Nobel Peace Prize improve global warming? How will he spend the prize money to save the planet?

He could afford a smaller house. Ever seen the mansion he he owns here in Tennessee? Surely he could afford to not use his big private jet all by himself? The devil himself campaigns by griping about the heat!

I don't know how he will spend the prize money, but winning the Nobel Prize gives him recognition. Hopefully, because of it, more people and governments will pay attention.

The prize money is 10 million SEK (~US$1.56 million). If that amount of money is adequate to "save the planet," then global warming is more of a hoax than even the most outspoken global warming skeptic would have asserted. On the other hand, if global warming is real, then that amount of money will be utterly ineffective to "save the planet."Al Gore's acceptance of the Nobel Peace Prize tarnishes Al Gore's reputation, as well as that of the committee that awards the prize, as it shows they both have no qualms about violating Alfred Nobel's will to award a prize for pacifism.

He'll buy carbon offsets from himself with the prize money. After all, merely creating awareness has yet to keep a single atom of carbon from being oxidized.
