Hi, I'm new here so forgive me if I ask a question that's already been asked. Here is my situation. Iv'e been paying my mortgage on time for months and it has not been showing up on my credit reports. I contacted the lender and they said they don't report. Great if you pay late I guess, but for me, it's seriously affecting my FICO score. I called the credit bureaus, and unless the lender wants to pay for software and all sorts of fees, they won't qualify to report. Thus they can't even send in a letter showing I'm in good standing. Is there anything I can do? Can I sue the credit bureaus for failing to show my mortgage payments? What about the millions on Americans who rent and no longer own homes, are they all screwed too? THanks in advance. |
