Default Bank not reporting mortgage to all "3" CB's???

I noticed my Transunion score being quite a bit lower. I then realized for the past 2 years, my construction and then mortgage payments have not been reported to Transunion at all!! How can they do that?

I contacted the bank and they said they report to 2, not sure why they don't the other and they were going to check into it.

I just mentioned how helpful it would be and/or would of been. (I could follow up with a letter to them?)

Can I take action myself and send copies or proof or something to TransUnion?
That is a HUGE amount of credit (with no late payments) that I feel cheated on and it is directly effecting our ability to obtain decent financing right now.

Lenders only report to the CRAs that they are contracted with. They have to pay them to report TLs. For whatever reason......they didn't like or want TU.
You could maybe offer to pay to have it reported.......not really sure if that will work though. I've never personally asked or tried that.
It NEVER hurts to try though.

Does TU have to see it from creditor? ( I assume yes. )

I'm wondering if it would hurt or help my credit anyway. I just would think it would help - it would be an excellent credit history and huge!

Maybe the bank will start reporting it to them, no one really had an answer as to why they do not.

Yeah......TU would have to get the information directly from the creditor.
Maybe if you were to call back and ask to speak to someone in that department (the department that provides the info for the CRAs) and ask if they would consider it..........or if they would be willing to do it for you if you pay them a fee. Worth a shot.

Yeah, it may be worth a shot. I'm going to pull my husband's credit today and see where it's at. I just think this mortgage info would of been an enormous amount of excellent credit and it was not recorded in our credit file - I think it sucks personally.
