Default Does the DSS pay the interest on your mortgage when

you have a baby and cant work ? Im 30 have just found out im pregnant ,i work full time and have a mortgage .It will not be possible for me to go back to work full time once i have the baby due to child care issues.AS i have never claimed benefits before im very confused at what i can claim i have phoned the DSS and they were very vague and unsure of what im entitled to and said every situation is differant and untill i have the baby they dont know. Thats not a answer i can take at this moment in time as i dont want to have the baby and my house gets repossed three months later because i cant pay the mortgage ,does anyone have any ideas? I have to know so i can sell my house if necassery and make changes. I will be a single parent and will not get any help at all from the father who is my ex fiance and is american and lives in america. All advice would be greatly appriciated.

Why should the rest of us pay because you want a child you can not afford!! You will get maternity leave, I suggest you find a good child minder and unfortunately work like the rest of us, the decision to have this child is yours.
