Default I'm confused if I'm going to put my house on...
...foreclosure or short sell? If short sale they might chased my 401k. I'm saving that money for my kids education.

if you have nonrecourse loan that is the only way the bank will not go for your 401k plan.sounds like you should see a lawyer for help.
