I am totally lost, please help.

Hi there,

I have had a good week and have been able to face some of the mounting mail that is in front of me. I have been also able to put together some semblance of order on my debt. Up to this I have been unable to confront the situation because I feel hopeless.

My wife and I are also 13 months behind on our mortgage but I will keep that for the Mortgage forum.

Regarding my CC debt can some one please advise me on what I should do first I have one CC that is still "working" but I pay 100.00 /month and 80-85 is interest.

My job situation is limited but I may have a second job in a couple of weeks. I have gone from earning 1200-1500 /week cash as a bartender to earning 400.00 in a totally different job.

Here is my credit card breakdown.

Please let me know what other info you might need in order for you to to help me.

Chase Visa Rewards:$ 2288.73 A/C closed by bank. Unsure where I am at with this account. Open since 2006.
Account is owned by Chase Bank Usa INC.

Citi Premier Pass : $1466.23 Regret to inform you citi cards account will not be reopenen for one or more of the following reasons:
1. You failed to make a payment when due
2. You failed to bring a/c Bal. below current credit line
3. You failed to keep all your accounts current
4. Your total credit obligations too high.

Citi Diamond Preferred rewards $5325.92 I am unsure where I am at on this card. I was on a payment but I think I have missed payments there also.

Apparently terms previous to temporary payment agreement are back in effect.

placed into Collection EOS CCA AND also CBE Group. Two AGENCIES?????


I do not have a credit report but can get one from experian as a letter just came in regarding one of the cards and I can avail of it within 60 days.

All told about 45,002 in debt and obviously mounting and I don't know what to do. Please help.

Hi I am in New Jersey by the way. And I have just started reading this forum and am beginning to feel relief. I know the work ahead but I cannot afford to make any more mistakes.

I (We) also have a big mortgage issue 13 months behind. My wife works has a good job but we cannot afford mortgage etc on one wage. We are being told we have to bring the mortgage current in one fell swoop. So we are thinking of going into her retirement. The penalty (only one I am aware of, maybe you guys know) is she can't put in for a minimum of six months I think.

We are in a 10 year ARM and are about 5 years in. So We have no equity in the house and it has been revalued at 100,000 less according to town assessment.

Should this be taken into consideration regarding my CC's or should it be handled seperatley.

Can someone show me where to go to find out on the mortgage issue what is the next best action to take.
I just don't know who to trust anymore.
