This is my favorite option and if you follow the plan you can be living a debt free life in less than 3 years.
If and when the creditor decides to sue you,do they stand by you in court. What deal can they make that you can't make on your own?All your cards are closed.Your out of debt, but your score is in the toilet,You have nothing for renting a car, hotel room etc.

Find a debt relief agency. They will give you a free consultation and they will also help you get out of debt within 36 months or less. They will work with your budget and negotiate with your creditors to get you lower payments, rates, and balances.

Some people have got out of debt, which is good! However when you use a agency some lenders look on as a self imposed bankruptcy. If you did do that always keep one card current in case of an emergency.Like rent a card, motel etc.The end result is you can do the same on your own, without a monthly fee.
