you have been paying on a debt monthly? In this case it is a dental bill. They placed me in collections stating that they wanted a hundred dollar a month minimum payment. I have great difficulty making a hundred dollar payment. This is the state of Colorado.

I thought as long as you paid something they couldn't send you to collections!! I would check with a public attorney.

Call them and tell them you do not have this kind of money available but you can pay this amount And don't be afraid of them they get paid for the money they receive in collection--------------------------Keep this in mind when talking to them =Tell all your finical commitments to them and tell them if they want take me to courtThe court will see that you have been trying to pay the bill at a reasonable rate for your ability to pay and will not even consider the case They will tell the plant-if that the defendant has shown a desire to pay the bill and not be in default of it and will order them to accept what amount you have show able to pay.
