I don't believe there is any way a bank can take your home or property if you fail to pay credit card debt. They can just ding the dickens out of your credit score.

It's unlikely that they would be able to take your home. However, they could sue you for the amount, and then you'd have to pay. This might require you to sell your home to raise the funds.Sell some stuff around your home, get a boarder in, or do extra work. Raise the money and get rid of the debt. Then they can't do anything to you.
