Credit Sweeps & Trade Lines

I hope it's okay to talk about Credit Sweeps and Trade Lines on this forum. So, my question is: are credit sweeps legal? If so, is there a person or company that does credit repairs, credit sweeps, and trade line posting for individuals and businesses.

To be honest, companies claiming to be credit sweepers seem to be just credit repair companies with a different name, maybe to entice you more.

I personally think if you really need professional help, lexington law or any of the other companies named at aaacreditguide.com are the best. The truth is that you don't exactly need to hire them, they do nothing that you can't do yourself with the right research. You can learn exactly what to do to repair it as much as possible. However, maybe you don't feel like doing that research so then credit repair is right for you. Lex law knows the right language to use to provide more leverage on the credit bureaus than the average non-researched out joe could do.

There is one major caution that I have for you which is to sign up with a company that does not charge upfront fees. It's illegal and scandalous for you to be paying before any work is done. A search for 'credit sweepers' came up with a lot of results and the first six I checked out have those upfront fees.

It should also be noted that credit repair companies can only work with credit bureaus. They can't negotiate with Collections or Creditors which could be a limit of power.
