If a creditor, or for that matter any party, has reported to a CRA, resulting in its appearance in your CR, you can obtain any information about that party or their reporting directly from the CRA.
FCRA 609(a)(1) is a provision of the statute that entitles you to request any and all information reported to your credit file. The OC must have provided their name and address to the CRA at the time of reporting. Send a 609(a)(1) letter to the CRA along with a copy of their relevant posting to your CR in order to provide a basis for your request, proof of your identity, clear identification that the information you desire is their contact name and address, and the required processing fee of $11.00. The CRA is then required to provide all requested information reported to your credit file directly to you.
