Going to try a PFD to OC..looking for advice.

Other than chase on my credit report, I have a settled charge off that comes off the beginning of 2012, and I had a bunch of lates on my student loan. Haven't been late on the student loan since the end of 2008.

I had a car loan that was never late and I opened new car loan in 1/2011 that has never been late. I only have one open credit card, a orchard bank with $300 limit.

Should I attempt to contact Chase again? Write them? call them? any suggestions?

Can chase report a account status as chargeoff/collection how can it be a chargeoff and a collection?

not listed as collection...just closed charge off account
