Hi I am a complete newbie at all of this stuff. And I have read articles on how to get inquiry's off my record but I still feel confused. Can someone simply advise me how to get these inquiry's off my record? I dont even know if it's possible but if there is How do i do that? I just recently bought a car and applied for a bunch of credit cards (which I got denied on all of them) so I got alot of inquiry's on my record. Please HELP! |

Well the good news is credit inquiries only effect 10% of your fico score. The bad news is if they are recent legitimate inquiries there won't be much you can do to remove until they fall off in 2 years. Applying for a bunch of cards all at once looks really bad on your credit report. It makes you appear desperate to get credit. Try to avoid this in the future. You're only real option is the dishonest one of disputing them with the CRA's as not authorized or not yours and try to see if yuo can get them removed that way but as new as they are I bet you don't have much luck with this.. but you could have some luck with it.. Always that puncher's chance. |
