Default Just satisfied a judgement...

Will this increase my score at all? Since I have now satisfied the judgement, if it doesnt increase my scoring, can I try to get it removed? It was from the State of NY- what is the best way to get it removed from my CR?

thanks!

Judgments remain, under FCRA 605(a)(2), for 7 years from the date of entry of the judgment, paid or unpaid. Payment does not enter into FICO scoring.

You have a legal issue, aside from credit reporting under the FCRA.
Some states provide for removal of a judgment based on payment. Others require the showing of some defect in the judgment. The support and concurrence of the judgment creditor in motioning for removal of the judgment may be persuasive to the judge.

You must motion the court for removal, citing whatever grounds are available under your state code or practice.
