Default Speaking to Experian

Experian is the last of the 3 that lists my foreclosure, so I am attempting to get it deleted.

Yesterday I managed to get Experian on the phone by mistake (I was transferred from freecreditreport). They seemed very polite, but wanted me to make my dispute with them over the phone. The person kept saying, "If you let us know why you want to dispute it then we will investigate for you", but I told him I would need to look at the report more closely and call them back (I had them on the hook but had no idea what to do about it).

How would I avoid answering his question and getting them to validate the foreclosure? I don't want them to mark my attempt as frivolous. Thanks.

I would simply tell them that you want them to validate that ALL information they are reporting is correct. You shouldn't have to give them any other reason. I never have anyway.
