Default Fraudulent Items on Credit Report

Recently I have applied for credit to buy a car. I have been denied several times. I found fraudulent items. According to the report I have an alias? And there's almost 100,000.00 debt on my report that is not mine. I don't know where to start. I have looked at several websites to run my report but i am very apprehensive now to do this with all the problems I already have. Do you have any ideas? Thank you!

You can obtain a free credit report from the Credit Reporting Agencies because you have been denied credit. Don't be apprehensive about doing it, it will be worse on you if you don't. If it looks like you have an alias it is possible that you have either been a victim of idenity theft, or your credit file has been merged with someone of a similar name or SS#. File disputes with the Credit Reporting Agencies and include in the dispute the erroneous accounts and personal information. You might also want to file a police report just in case it is identity theft. The link below will take you to the FTC website that will give you much more information than I am able to type in here.
