I joined Lexington Law December 15 2010. It has been nearly 3 months now. I joined the Premier plan I think it was, whichever one is the most expensive. As far as deletions go, they are doing a fantastic job. I know I could probably do this myself but the truth is I would rather pay someone to do it. So Far TU I had 20 accounts and 16 have already been deleted including bad student loan info. I had Rehabed my student loans but the old info was still showing along with the new . This is a very common occurrence from what I have read. I find that most of their early deletions will always be from TU since TU communicates with them electronically and the other 2 don't.( I found this out by emailing them and asking why the other 2 bureaus were not showing deletions) I am expecting more deletions in the next week or 2. EX I had 14 accounts So far 5 deletions including US Dept of Ed and Sallie Mae EQ 17 bad accounts originally with 3 deletions so far Word of warning here. When they deleted my old student loans I think that you lose the years of history as well, your length of time opened, which isn't a great thing. I kind of wish I had not had them delete those. I should have pursued getting them reported correctly as account paid instead of having them deleted. But, it doesn't seem to have hurt me too bad. I am not sure Lex Law has that option yet or not. In the 3 months I have been with them it seems they are lacking a few options like that, but they have improved the site and now there is a place for you to put notes like that in at the bottom of the case valet page. My Opinion of Lex Law: I like what they do, the service could use a little refining. As others have stated, they are slow to respond to emails. Phone hold times can be about 10 to 15 minutes. I attribute this to all of us who are lost and asking lots of stuff of them, just be patient and they seem to get things done.I have seen some improvements in their website which shows that they are trying. The changes actually helped too !!! ha ha. One drawback I see is that you have to provide them with your EX and EQ reports about once a month because these 2 don't seem to want to play nice and send LL updates electronically as TU does. You will notice that early on TU is where most if not all of your early deletions will come from. Another bit of advice is that when you send them reports, keep the reports separate, don't send all 3 in one file, send each separately, I label mine with EQ or EX or TU with current date and my name Another opinion of mine is that they do kind of drag things out a bit in order to milk you for as much as they can, but for me personally, it is worth it if you can afford it. Any communications you get from your creditors or the credit bureaus need to be forwarded to LL as well. I do it all electronically for speed reasons plus it allows me to track things better. Remember this, the squeaky wheel gets the oil, so if you're not happy then call them, be patient while on hold. Talk nice to them but be firm, ask questions and they seem to be very co-operative. Overall my experience is VERY positive. My results so far, before I joined LL I had already raised my TU from a 460 to a 560 and right now LL has helped me raise that to 600. The main thing keeping it from being higher is my credit utilization ratio which is my fault and not theirs. |

From what I have heard, they are very busy right now. It sounds like they maybe weren't ready for the spike in clients. I'm sure they are trying to expand and hire more people, but for the people who are already clients, unfortunately, they just have to be patient. Your TU results were great! The EX results seem a little low and the EQ seem way low. EQ has always been the easiest CRA to deal with. They eventually delete everything with a little persistence. Either way, it sounds like you are very close to where you need to be.

Thanks for sharing that info greg. I am with LL for the past few weeks and agree that their service could use some polishing. I have communicated with Skyblue and they are very responsive, but I think I will hold off on switching to see how the first 2-3 months go with LL.
