Awesome! I had a 30 day late removed lickety split and I was talking to a guy that got a BK removed. It took him about a year but he was in house range at the end of it. Keep us posted!

I wish you the best with Lex Law.

I might suggest that you also consider, as part of your repair activities, something that a credit repair organization cannot do for you. If there are inaccuracies in your CR, a credit repair organization cannot avail themselves of the direct dispute process under FCRA 623(a)(8) as a tool in getting your dispute directly to the creditor. Credit repair organizations are exempt from the direct dispute process under the provisions of 16 CFR 660.4(b)(2).

They can only avail themselves of the dispute process through the CRAs, under FCRA 611(a). The emasculation of disputes by a CRA through use of their automated e-Oscar dispute process often does not get the results you can obtain via the direct dispute process.

How do you know each section to quote? Are you looking it up as you go or are you just referencing a book that is really good?

The statutory basis for exclusion of credit repair organizations from the direct dispute process is FCRA 623(a)(8)(G).

I would recommend opting out and deleting old addresses. LexLaw doesn't tell you to do this, but it may help you get more deletions faster.

I'm the biggest skeptic of them all and I can tell you first hand that Lexington Law works! I signed up with them on August 18th 2011. And a couple of things have already been deleted. They seem to be very secretive though, about whatever techniques and strategies they use. Sometimes I'll send questions to them via email and they will give blanket responses. Frankly, I don't care how they do it. As long as the end result is in my favor. I have the concord package (69.95 per month). I only had a couple of minor negatives but my wife has a whole slew of them. I was thinking about taking a chance at repairing hers myself with the little knowledge that I have. but after the Lex results on my reports, i'm thinking of just paying to have them to take care of my wife's reports as well.

I can say 1st hand that Lexington is not a scam. They communicate well, and they do the job. But please be patient!!! results don't happen overnight. I've seen some knee jerk reviews saying that Lexington sucks just because something didn't get deleted on the first round of disputes...Credit repair takes time and persistence from what I've learned so far...

update: My transunion credit report has been completely repaired w/ no negative listings!! I'm still waiting on the results of my Equifax and Experian though. I'm also waiting on responses to a couple of what i'm assuming to be 623 letters sent out be lex law. I should know something in a couple of days.

Oh, and with the recent deletion of a $60 paid medical collection account, my transunion score went from 726 to 750!
