Unhappy 50 point difference between MyFICO and Kroll

Had a loan officer pull a 3-in-1 report from Kroll Factual data today, and the score for TransUnion had a 50 points difference (503 vs 551) between it and MyFICO. MyFICO showed the score as 525 on 12/22 and 551 on 1/15, so seeing it at 503 on the combined report nearly broke my heart. Is MyFICO that inaccurate, or is there something else that could be causing the wide spread?

I know TU won't send updated reports while there is a open dispute, could this be a contributing factor?

It could be from many factors. MyFICO shouldn't be inaccurate at all. Either way, anything is the 500's is horrible. Have you started repairing your credit?

Been working at it for a little while with slow but steady results. Hoping to get into the 600-620 range to qualify for a mortgage, but afraid it'll be a long hard battle!

That could be the problem - I've had nearly continuous disputes with them for over three months.

Thanks! I hope that's the case. I was pretty disappointed when I heard that 542 come out of his mouth. Ill wait 30 more days til it updates again and ill post the results.
