I put in another post that I ordered all 3 credit reports from Experian. I believe it cost me $39 for all of them. The problem is that they do not have all the information I need. I need to find out the dates of my last payments, full account #'s, basically I just need everything so I can begin to repair my credit. Do I need to pay to receive my credit reports again by mail? If I need to pay again do I enclose a check with each request for a credit report from each CRA? Do I send the request to the same address that I would send a dispute letter to? If I was recently denied credit for a car loan/credit card is this a reason to get a free report? If anyone knows the answer to my questions please post. I appreciate the help. |

Follow the steps here: Basic Step by Step Beginner's Guide to Credit Repair Yes, if you were recently denied credit, you can get a free report. The FCRA also allows you to get 1 free credit report per year.
