Late payments on credit report

My current status:
EXP: (3) 30 day lates: June 08, July 08, Aug 08
EQU: (4) 30 day lates: Dec 07, June 08, July 08, July 08
TU: (4) 30 day lates: Dec 07, June 08, July 08, Aug 08


I have nothing sent to collections and nothing else negative on my reports. I have opted out and deleted all personal information. I previously disputed others online, which had removed (7) 30 day lates, but unfortunately added (2) new 30 day lates.

My problem: My SOL is 3 yrs, so the only 30 day lates that are outside the SOL are the two from Dec 07. Should I now blanket 1-2 punch? How risky is it to 1-2 punch when they are still within the SOL? Other advice? I sure appreciate it!

SOL has nothing to do with removing late payments and the 1,2 punch is a method used collection agencies. Read thru the Beginner's Credit Information threads again so you can get a better understanding of how this all works.

For late payments, you can try a goodwill letter or CRA dispute.

five of my 30 day lates are from Lowes. I owe less than $200 on the account at this point. Do you think a pay for delete would work in this situation?
