Credit repair.. collections account

Okay so I had this account in collections because I wan't aware that I had a bill that was not covdered by insurance company but I was slow in moving on the thing and it went into my credit report. I made a mistake of admitting that I knew of it and asked for some time to clear it up with the insurance company- which I meant to do but couldn't do for some reason or the other.

So I decided to pay up CBSJ but they refused to take it off my credit report and so I held on my payment.. I even went to identity crisis and "disputed" the debt on there and suddenly i am not receiving any calls from CBSJ..

Today I checked my credit report and the negative info has gone from my credit report.

My question is - what should I do now? What if it shows back up on my credit?? Is my accoun still delinquient with CBSJ or did it majically gett deleted?? If it is still delinquient then they will at some point wake up and bother me again.. and I don't mind paynig in full- I just don't want it on my credit report.....

Did you get the date of service from the collection agency? If so then you should contact your insurance company and ask if they ever received a claim for the date of service and provider information they gave you. Maybe your insurance company took care of it. Just ask
