30-day late payment on Wheelworks credit card

I am very happy to have found this forum last night, as I am trying to repair my credit so I can get a conventional mortgage loan soon. A few questions...

1) I had a 30-day late payment on my Wheelworks credit card, which I was not aware of. It was for $80, I paid it off and closed the account because I was upset with the CC company for not leaving me any voicemails after calling me for 2 months. I did not get my e-statement, never got anything in the mail either. This happened in Aug '10, so it affected my credit scores a lot. Should I write them a goodwill letter since I had already disputed it online and it came back verified within 2 weeks (before I found out I should have done it by mail)?

2) I went through credit counseling company to pay off 4 of my credit cards (AMEX, BoA, 2 Citi) in 2006. I paid them on time every month, and I paid it off within a year. But Citi reported my payments were late up til 120 days. How can I fix this??

2) Does the 30-day count start from the day of receipt?

#1: With the 30 day late I would call the original creditor and ask why it was reporting late.
#2: Was this 120 days while with the credit managemet company?
#3: When a 30 day late starts depends on the policies of that creditor. Ask them

1) It was reporting 30 days late because I forgot I had a balance and never received my e-statement. I paid it off when I became aware of it. Should I still call the OC to ask why it was reporting late?

2) Yes it was with the credit counseling company.
