Default Question regarding Lexington Law

Lexington has a lot of great things about their work and tools, etc. I am perplexed about something though.

I have read here and agree to some extent that it's important to opt out and delete all personal info- addresses, name variations, phone #'s etc.

Why is it that if this is so key a step that Lexington does not do this? I know of 3 people that work with them and they were never opted out or advised to. In addition they were never instructed to dispute their personal information.

Good question. Maybe they don't think it's necessary. Honestly, it's not completely necessary to raise your credit scores. But, I think it gives you a better chance and protects you from identity theft as you mentioned in your other post.

It's simple to do and except for Experian, it's usually easy to have them removed, so I don't know why LL doesn't do that.

When you say "worked with Lexington" do you mean 3 past customers or 3 employees?

You get what you pay for. Lex is a small up front and small monthly that only deals with basic credit disputing with the bureaus. Some of the higher priced "white glove" type companies would do that for you

Which company do you consider to be a "white glove company" that does credit repair? I ask because I just signed up with LL and so far am not too impressed with how they operate.

When did you sign up? What issues are you having with them?
