Default How long does it take for a C&D letter to take effect

I sent a Cease and Desist letter to Porfolio Rec Asses on Saturday the 13th CMRRR. I tracked the delivery and it was accepted on Monday. They called me today at 9:00am which is Tuesday. Would this be a violation of the C&D or does it take a certain length of time like 30 days?

Yea, but they could argue that they get a lot of mail and didn't actually read it until a few days later. It doesn't really matter unless you really want to sue them. Are you thinking about suing them?

Yes, if that's what it comes to. I want to use the fact that they violated the TCPA act by auto-dialing my cell phone 4 times over the past month as leverage against my alleged debt which is around 2k. The TCPA violations are $500 each without knowlege and $1500 with knowlege. So right now we are even. One more call and I am ahead by $500.
