Default Another new person with questions.

Hi all.. I just found this forum a few days ago and have been reading as much as I can, you guys do a great job at providing info and help. I wish I'd found this place earlier.

A little info about my situation along with a few questions I'm still unsure of - I started off on my own already with a few things before I found this place, beginning with obtaining my 3 reports - free. I did an online dispute with all 3to have a couple accts removed for which I was listed as an authorized user. This has only been about 4-5 days ago, TU deleted these accts within 2 days, I'm still waiting to hear from the other 2.

In the mean time, I have been reading the beginner guides here. I didn't know about "opting out" before, I went ahead and did that right away. I also noticed in the guides it mentions mailing disputes, as I mentioned above - my first disputes were done online, I made and saved screenshots of all the steps and saved any email replies I've received..so, my first question is - is it ok to dispute online or should I do any future disputes via mail? Next, aside from the authorized user accts I've disputed, there are 2 negatives - one is an old acct/CO reported by Chase and the other is being reported by Midland, who apparently bought an old acct. According to the dates, both accts are past the SOL as of earlier this year but still fall within the reporting time if the info is correct - I don't have any paperwork from this long ago saved.. so I have no records to verify acct #'s or anything, or if these are even mine, although I assume they are. My next question is - can I dispute these accts and try to possibly have them removed, even if they fall under the timeline for reporting them and if so, what should I do about not having any records or acct numbers saved? Is it possible to dispute these accts based on not recognizing or having any record of them?

These are the questions I have so far, there's possibly something more I forgot at the moment but, any help with what I've mentioned so far will be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

All future disputes should be done by mail.

If you have your credit reports, you should have the account numbers. Yes, you can dispute them. You can dispute anything you want, any time you want. You don't need a reason.

They are the ones that have to have the reason for putting them on there. You are thinking like the defendant. You need to think more like the plaintiff.

Thank you for your help! Also, I wanted to ask, since there are only 2 items is it ok to dispute them both in the same letter or do I need to dispute them seperately?
