 deleting late payments
whats up forum, I was hoping i could get some advice here. I sent a goodwill letter out to the OC and they agreed to delete late payments. On the letter they sent back to me they stated that the records are correct but if I disputed with the CRA's they would delete the late payments. Well, I sent out disputes to all three CRA's and so far equifax has came back as verified. I dont know about the other two. Would it be a good idea to send the letter from the OC to the CRA's????

If they were going to remove them, they would've done it. It doesn't make sense that they would make you dispute them. Equifax and the others verify it against a database a lot of the time. The OC doesn't even hear from them lots of times. Just dispute it again. Equifax always eventually caves. The other 2 are harder.
