I had my name removed from the credit card marketing lists. 2 weeks later I learned that Discover lowered my credit limit from $10,000 to $800. Nothing changed with my finances in that time. Do I have any recourse to get my limit back up? |

I would definitely try to get a higher credit limit. Credit card companies did that to a lot of people because of the economy. It's horrible for credit scores. I would ask for a higher limit and maybe threaten them with closing your account. It's complete bullshit what they do to people. That right there could have lowered your scores a ton and undeservedly so.
