GLA Collections is located in Louisville KY. My hometown. they were one of the only companies that verified all my accounts. I know where they are located it is just 15 min from my house. i am going to send a DV letter. would it be better if i walked it in and slapped it down on the desk or mail it CMRRR "right down the street". is there a downside to doing this?

you send it cmrrr because if they dont responed back in 30 days they are breaking the law and then you will have proof of them breaking the law cause you will have the mail stub saying you sent it and they signed it saying they got it. if they dont send you a letter back within 30 days you can sue them in small clams court for 1.)Defamation 2.)Negligent Enablement of Identity Fraud 3.)Violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act at this point you are not sueing based on the fact that you owe money, you are suing because they broke the fedral law. look around do some reading small clams court cost about 30 dollars to open a case. 95% of the time if you drop the charges they drop the debit. |
