Default Need account numbers? What to do?

I had posted a thread earlier about what information to mail to the CAs and CRAs to show that I am who is disputing the information. Someone answered and told me they usually only send the account number when disputing with the CA. Thats fine but how do I get the account number?

In my credit report the last four digits are x'd out. The people that can give me the account number only work Monday thru Friday 9 til 5. Which would be fine. But it's for my husband. He only speaks Spanish and the line to call Monday thru Friday 9 til 5 has English speaking customer service agents only. He has already called and spoken to the regular customer service in Spanish and they gave him a second number to call but its english only. My question is: How can we get these account numbers?? I can't be there when he calls to translate because we both work 8 til 5. He can call at work and so can I but not together so how do we make this work? Its so frustrating I can't belive how inconvenient they make their hours. Can he write to get the account numbers?

when you pull your credit report your gonna see this

acount # 11235XXXXX

you dont need the whole account number to dispute something with them, they should know based on your address and name. and its my advice to not to go dig around to find the old account numbers over the phone with my them because you might reactvate a old account that maybe they forgot about it or lost the paper work for.

make there job hard so they cant do it in 30 days. just send this

name: edward frankstein
Adress: 123 fake street
acount # 12356xxxx


do the 1 2 punch method it worked for me

It's important to note that disputes are done with the CRAs. Debt validation is done with the CAs and is not technically considered a dispute. It's important not to call it that when referring to debt validation as it's very confusing because they are handled completely different.
