adress came back

hi guys my old adress came back on my equifax report it was deleted but came back for some reason.

and for some reason experian wont change my adress i sent them letters and even tryed online and nothing should i call them.

Did you opt out?

With Equifax, a creditor probably gave them that address after you got it removed. Dispute it again.

With Experian, they don't remove addresses connected to tradelines. They are dirty bastards, the worst CRA to deal with. I hope they continue to get sued and finally start abiding by the law.

how long do addresses stay on your credit report? do they only list addresses that you have accounts linked to on your credit report? i have an address on my report that ive been trying to delete for months now, calls, letters, etc. I never lived there (it was my ex-girlfriends house) yet it shows up on my experian and equifax reports.

Experian keeps it as long as it is attached to a tradeline. Equifax should delete it easily.
