Confused about S.O.L. and Opt-Out

I love the forum, I'm learning a lot. I have a couple questions about my current dispute process..

I sent all 3 bureaus disputes, so far Equifax has responded in time and verified my accounts and Trans Union only sent me a letter deleting all my personal info. Its been about 35 days and no word from or ex. I also disputed my address and all other personal information. I found the Opt-out post and opted out, was it to late to opt out being that the dispute process has started?

I also made the mistake of disputing within the S.O.L. what do I do now? do i worry about being sued or can i continue to dispute? can I still do the 1-2 Punch? I really would like to just push the reset button and start the whole disputing process over...

Yea, you really don't want to do anything until you 100% completely understand what you're doing. The biggest mistake people make is jumping into it before they understand. That can cause irreversible damage and unintended consequences. It can make your situation much worse.

Keep reading as much as you can at the forum and you will find answers to your questions and have a much better understanding.

so can I still dispute, and can i send a debt validation letter if the company has not contacted me. I disputed with all three without using R.Receipt and Equifax verified it only. As it turns out, the other 2 CRAs responded saying to send proof of a gas bill with my address on it but i never responded. I disputed first and opted out second, but that's only because i found out about it late. So since i got my address removed from my report, can I just dispute on inaccurate address??? will that work.thanks

You can, but it probably won't work. It's just not a good reason. It's best not to give a reason. You need to send the CRAs 2 forms of identification that have your current address on it.
