Old Accounts (+5 Years Old)

Greetings all -

In my young foolish days I slacked a little (maybe a lot) and my credit shows some old account with some 30/60 lates, can I ask to remove the accounts or just remove the lates?


I have some accounts that are about 10 years old with possibly 1 maybe 2 lates, what should I do with those?

We have been paying things off, but my score still at 650 (myfico). I have not request any of the lates be removed yet, just want an idea where to start.

If you have mostly positive history, you should try to just dispute the lates as "never late". If there is not much history, you can just dispute it and ask them to remove it. You don't have to give a reason.
